- 3tbsp/ 45g butter , unsalted
- 700g / one.2lb mushrooms , sliced into 0.5cm thick slices
- three garlic cloves , finely minced
- ane/2 tsp salt and pepper

- Pasta, wide egg noodles, mashed potato
- Chives for garnish
