How to Share a Flickr Album and Allow People to Upload Photos
RubyMae bilang:
They can't upload them to your account every bit that is for photos taken by y'all.
You tin can, however, start a grouping on flickr and other people could (from their own flickr accounts, which are gratuitous to start) add their photos to the group and y'all could all share them that way.

It is confronting Flickr rules to take images in your account that you did not create.
Since Flickr tracks and makes visible what camera was used for each epitome, it is relatively easy to encounter that many different cameras were used to capture essentially the same consequence.
The penalty for doing this is includes having your account deleted from Flickr. Non worth the risk of having your account reported to Flickr.

Technically, yes.
But this would be very bad communication to give to the account holder.

Many things are technically possible that aren't advisable.
The answer to the OP's question about whether it'due south possible is: "Yes, it's possible." It's merely a skillful thought to warn the OP that it shouldn't be washed.

Yous're right -- and I wouldn't let anyone else accept that kind of admission to my account.
Only I tin can see a kind of collective account beingness set up whereby a group of people post to the same account. I doubt the Flickr Police force would worry much virtually whether it violates their rules, and especially not if a "Pro" account were used!

But I can see a kind of commonage account existence ready whereby a group of people post to the same account. It'southward called a "Group" and Flickr has a whole "how-to" well-nigh how to do one, in which the actual example is wedding-guest photos. Shared accounts cause legal problems. Can't see why Flickr would want to go there.

I don't think the Assist Forum is here to aid people get booted out of Flickr or to advise them to break the rules. It may be an idea for future use, in which case yous could use the Flickr Ideas group to post your request:

but for now I would propose that we assist the OP use the tools bachelor within the existing rules.

Really? Then why have the dominion at all?
They do intendance, actually, which is why your business relationship tin can be deleted without warning if you violate it. Pro has zippo to practice with information technology.

Many people with Pro accounts have made the same wrong assumption: that somehow having a Pro account negates or softens the penalty for breaking the rules, or somehow gets them a warning before the rules really apply to them.
You may desire to review the hundreds of threads in this forum that give difficult evidence that this isn't so.

I think some people take the "upload only your images" dominion a little too seriously. I don't recollect the intent of the rule was to limit casual collecting and sharing of event photos among friends. Information technology was intended to prevent copyright violations. That'due south probably why it'southward labeled equally a "guideline".
Requiring everyone who attended an event to sign up for a Yahoo and Flickr account, navigate the myriad menus and pages and Group instructions, just to post a few photos of a nuptials, I think goes against the spirit of the guideline.
My advice? Make a single costless business relationship. Information technology'southward limited to but displaying 200 images only that should be plenty for a wedding. Send out the upload email address as suggested above. Then y'all can curate/control the account, organize the images into a fix, remove ones you don't desire, etc. And then yous tin can send a link of the set (fifty-fifty a direct link to the set slideshow) to everyone you want, and they can view the images.
A free account doesn't allow admission to the full size original images, and then people can't make decent prints out of them (and people will desire to maintain copies of their images on their own computers too). Merely as a simple slideshow of an event it'southward pretty useful, and I sincerely doubt anyone at Flickr staff would blink twice at how it was put together.

You haven't been to an average nuptials in awhile, I presume.
(At the last wedding ceremony I attended, my grand-nephew borrowed my point and shoot and took 300 photos. Surprisingly, near 250 of those were keepers.)

If you're going to go the unmarried account road rather than use a group, then it's probably easiest to just have people e-mail you lot the photos, or give you a flash drive with the photos on them and upload them yourself. Personally, I find upload by email to exist irksome and unreliable.
